It is very important for us as New Brunswickers to do our part to help contain the spread of COVID-19.

As the COVID-19 situation in New Brunswick evolves, we’ll continue to adjust and expand our services accordingly. Our Commercial and Industrial energy efficiency programs, as well as our New Home Energy Savings Program are open for new registrations. The remainder of our programs remain suspended until further notice due to the in-home nature of this work.

Program Suspension FAQs – Low Income Energy Savings Program

Is the Low Income Energy Savings Program over?

No. To do our part to help contain the spread of COVID-19, the Low-Income Energy Savings Program has been suspended until further notice, due to the in-home visits required to do this work.

Can I still register for the program?

No, we will not be accepting new registrations at this time.

If I am already registered for the Low Income Energy Savings Program (on the wait list), will the suspension of the program impact me?

Your name will remain on the wait list and once this program resumes, we will contact homeowners based on the order of the wait list when the program was suspended.

If I have been contacted and approved for the Low Income Energy Savings Program already, and have an evaluation and/or upgrades scheduled, what does the suspension of the program mean for me?

Nobody will be removed from the program as a result of this suspension. As soon as this program resumes your service organization will be in touch to schedule an appointment to continue work associated with the program.
