It is very important for us as New Brunswickers to do our part to help contain the spread of COVID-19.

As the COVID-19 situation in New Brunswick evolves, we’ll continue to adjust and expand our services accordingly. Our Commercial and Industrial energy efficiency programs, as well as our New Home Energy Savings Program are open for new registrations. The remainder of our programs remain suspended until further notice due to the in-home nature of this work.

 

Program Suspension FAQs – Total Home Energy Savings Program

Is this program over?

No. To do our part to help contain the spread of COVID-19, the Total Home Energy Savings Program has been suspended until further notice, due to the in-home visits required to do this work.

Can I still register for this program?

No, we will not be accepting new registrations at this time.

My deadline to complete the program is coming up, will I be able to extend the deadline?

Yes, your deadline will be extended to allow you more time to complete the program.

I already had my final evaluation but have not yet received my incentive. What happens now?

Incentive payments will continue to be processed. Cheques will be issued, and direct deposits will be made.

I have registered for the program but have not yet been contacted. When will I receive a call?

Once this program resumes, you will be contacted by one of our service organizations to schedule your evaluation.

My contractor is scheduled to come, but I have yet to have my evaluation. Am I still eligible for incentives?

Our program does require that you have an audit before any upgrades happen in order to be eligible for any incentive. The program guidelines will still apply.

Am I able to still perform upgrades?

Yes, as long as you have had your initial evaluation completed. Please see our program guidelines for eligibility of any products installed.

Will I have to re-start the program?

No, you may continue with your upgrades. If you need more time to be able to complete the work, we will work with you on an extension.
