How it Works

The Rental Owners Rebate Program helps offset the costs of energy-efficient upgrades to equipment and materials for residential rental properties. Participation is easy with the following steps:

Apply Online

Start by completing the online registration form. The program team will contact you within 5 business days. Once your eligibility is confirmed, you will receive an email that includes your Application ID, the Pre‑Approval Form, and the Direct Deposit Enrollment Form.

Choose eligible upgrades and submit Pre-Approval Form

Review the Program Guidelines and obtain quotes for the selected work.

Submit the completed pre-approval form along with the quotes to RORP-PRPLL@nbpower.com or upload them to our secure document upload site.

Receive Pre-Approval & Start Project

Once you have received the official pre-approval via email for your project, you can begin the approved work. This process typically takes 4-6 weeks

Complete Project & Request Payment

After all approved upgrades are completed and paid, submit the incentive claim documentation. Your rebate payment will be deposited directly into your designated account within 60 days or less.
