Low Income Energy Savings Program
Overview
The Low-Income Energy Savings Program targets homes in need of major energy efficiency upgrades, especially those needing insulation and air sealing. These upgrades will help low-income homeowners in New Brunswick reduce their energy use and costs.
Homes that are accepted into the Program may be eligible to receive some energy upgrades and will also have a number of energy saving products installed. Please see the Program Guidelines for more information.
Upgrades could include a mix of:
11 watt LED |
Domestic hot water pipe insulation |
Low flow showerheads |
Insulation (Basement/crawlspace, Attic, Main wall) |
Faucet aerators |
Air sealing |
How to Participate
Contact NB Power and request to be placed on the waiting list. NB Power will then screen potential participants based on household income and the need for energy efficiency upgrades in the home. Our current waitlist time is approximately 24 to 36 months.

Acceptance into this program is based on a first come, first served basis and subject to availability of program funding. You will be contacted if you are accepted into the program.
