Complete our online registration form before you apply for your building permit or call us at 1 800 663-6272. Select the Service Organization of your choice.
After registering, you will be contacted to begin the process of modeling and evaluating your plans. A program fee ($99+ HST) is required before modeling begins. You can expect your building plans to be modeled within three to four weeks of the date of your registration.
Based on your plans, the report from the registered energy advisor will outline two paths to consider for making your home more energy efficient.
Suggestions will include at least 5 of the Prescriptive upgrades or what is required to reach one of the Energy Performance Tiers. Once finalized, these agreed-upon upgrades will become a required set of improvements necessary to receive incentives.
Choose your efficiency and incentive level and build your home to those specifications. Be sure to save your receipts and product stickers!
Your Certified Energy Advisor will do an on-site evaluation. The results will be used to determine any incentive you may be eligible to receive.
